Ann McDonough D.M.D has 10+ years of experience in the field of dentistry and operates her locally owned practice here in Wyoming, PA. We're a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), Pennsylvania Dental Association (PDA) and the Luzerne County Dental Society. Our office is located at 25 E 8th St in Wyoming. Ann McDonough D.M.D
A compassionate and caring general dentist, Ann McDonough graduated from the Meyers High School; she then attended the King's College where she obtained a bachelor's degree in biology. She then received her dental degree from the Temple University in Philadelphia in 2007. McDonough worked as a Clinical Dentist for the Dental Hygiene Department at the Luzerne County Community College. She was also the Dentist for the Wyoming Area School District.
On her days off, Dr. McDonough works for mobile dentistry helping the underserved population.
When she is not at work, Dr. McDonough enjoys spending time with her husband, Jason and their two daughters, Jailynn and Kinley.
Jen, Hygienist
Jen earned her Associate of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene from Luzerne County Community College. She also has a license in local anesthesia. With over 16 years of experience in the dental field, Jen is not just a dental hygienist; she is a healthcare professional who values building lasting relationships with her patients. She takes pride in being detail-oriented and making every patient feel comfortable. Recognizing the importance of ongoing education, Jen actively pursues professional development opportunities. She attends conferences and webinars to stay informed about the latest advancements in the dental field, always seeking to integrate new knowledge into her practice. Outside the dental office, Jen enjoys spending time with her family and competing in equestrian events.
Catherine, Receptionist
Catherine comes from working 17 years in administrative positions. Catherine enjoys learning new things and building on the foundations she currently has. She is the friendly face at the front, ready to engage in discussions, whether it's questions regarding insurance, procedures, resolving any concerns, just chatting about life, or getting your mind at ease before your dental work. She loves working with her team at Dr. McDonough's to help patients feel great about their smiles and health. In her free time, she loves hanging out with her family, hiking, listening to music, and cooking.
